Overview
TR-140H type water quality sulfide tester is developed and designed based on GB/T16489-96 standard. It adopts methylene blue Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry, and reacts with sulfur ions to generate colored substances through Color developing reagent, chromogenic agent. Using Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry detects Absorbance and directly displays the sulfide concentration value (unit mg/L). The matching finished reagent makes the detection simple, fast, accurate and safe. The instrument is small, fast detection, simple operation and low cost. It is widely used in emergency monitoring, sewage treatment, chemical industry, wastewater, food, printing and dyeing and other industries. Wastewater detection and R & D institutions, colleges and universities wastewater research.

Principle
Based on the methylene blue Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry, in an acidic solution containing iron ions, Color developing reagent, chromogenic agent directly reacts with sulfur ions to form a colored substance, and the Color depth is proportional to the sulfur Ion concentration. Absorbance of the sample at a specific light source wavelength is detected by the Spectrophotometric method, and the sulfide concentration value (mg/L) is directly displayed after the data is automatically processed by the microcomputer.
