Overview
TR-136H water quality volatile phenol tester is developed and designed based on HJ503-2009 standard. Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry is used to detect sample Absorbance, and the volatile phenol concentration value (mg/L) is directly displayed by microcomputer automatic processing data. The matching finished product reagent makes the detection simple, fast, accurate and safe. It has the characteristics of small appearance, fast detection, simple operation and low cost.

Principle
Based on the HJ503-2009 standard, phenolic compounds react with 4-aminoantipyrine to generate orange-red indolephenol antipyrine dyestuff in a pH 10.00 +/- 0.2 medium in the presence of potassium ferricyanide. Absorbance of the sample was detected by Spectrophotometric method, spec-trophotometry, and then the volatile phenol concentration value (mg/L) was directly displayed after automatic data processing by a microcomputer.

Steps
1. Prepare samples and supporting reagents.
