Overview
LICHEN LC-10N-50A Benchtop freeze dryer is a equipment for material drying using vacuum freeze drying technology. This technology quickly freezes the material at low temperature and makes the frozen water molecules directly rise and escape in a vacuum environment, thereby maintaining the original structure and activity of the material. After drying, the material is porous and easy to rehydrate and return to its original state.
Features
1. Equipped with 7-inch color LCD Touchscreen, using PID control, can clearly display temperature, Vacuum Level, and support Linear dispersion browsing.
2. The drying chamber is covered with colorless transparent plexiglass, which is convenient for observing the freeze-drying process throughout the process.
3. Equipped with anti-return oil vacuum pump, the connection with the host adopts international standard KF quick connector, and the connection is reliable.
4. Using the original imported Compressor from Europe, with mixed environmentally friendly refrigerant, the refrigeration is rapid and the freezing temperature is low.
5. The cold trap has a pre-freezing function, which can be used instead of the low temperature refrigerator.
6. Built-in heat exchanger design effectively reduces the temperature of the cold trap and has strong water capture capacity.
7. Equipped with a nitrogen gas charging valve, which can be filled with nitrogen or inert gas after drying to maintain the material state.
Principle
Vacuum freeze drying is based on the principle of sublimation. First, the material is quickly frozen at low temperature, so that the moisture in it forms ice crystals. Then in a vacuum environment, the frozen ice crystals are directly sublimated to water vapor without going through the liquid state and removed. Since the material is always frozen at low temperature throughout the process, and the ice crystals are evenly distributed, the side effects such as condensation, foam and oxidation in the dehydrating process are avoided, thus maximizing the physical and biological properties of the material.
