Overview
LICHEN LC-10N-50B Benchtop freeze dryer is a technical equipment that uses the principle of sublimation for drying. The equipment will quickly freeze the dried substance at low temperature, and then directly sublimate and escape the frozen water molecules in a vacuum environment, thereby maintaining the original form and activity of the substance. After drying, it is porous and easy to rehydrate and restore to its original state.
Features
1. Adopt 7-inch color LCD Touchscreen, PID control, clearly display temperature, Vacuum Level, and browse Linear dispersion.
2. The drying chamber is covered with colorless transparent plexiglass, which is convenient for observing the freeze-drying process throughout the process.
3. Equipped with anti-return oil vacuum pump, the connection with the host adopts international standard KF quick connector, and the connection is reliable.
4. Using the original imported Compressor from Europe, with mixed environmentally friendly refrigerant, the refrigeration is rapid and the freezing temperature is low.
5. The cold trap has a pre-freezing function, which can be used instead of the low temperature refrigerator.
6. Built-in high-efficiency heat exchanger, effectively reducing the cold trap temperature and strong water capture capacity.
7. Equipped with a nitrogen gas charging valve, it can be filled with nitrogen or inert gas after drying to maintain the sample.
Principle
The device is based on vacuum freeze drying technology. First, the dried material is quickly frozen at low temperature, so that the water in it solidifies into ice. Then in a vacuum environment, the ice crystals are directly sublimated into water vapor without going through the liquid state, and the water vapor is captured by the cold trap. The whole process of the material is always in a low temperature freezing state, avoiding the material denaturation caused by dehydrate condensation, foam or oxidation, and finally obtaining a drying product with loose structure, basically unchanged volume and easy to rehydrate.
Applications
Laboratory sample preparation, freeze-drying of biological products, drug development, food research, materials science
