Overview
The LC-10N-50C Benchtop freeze dryer uses vacuum freeze drying technology to dry through the principle of sublimation. This technology will quickly freeze the dried material at low temperature, and then make the frozen water molecules directly rise and escape in a vacuum environment. The drying process is always in a low temperature state, and the ice crystals are evenly distributed, avoiding the side effects of condensation, foam and oxidation. Finally, the dried material is porous in a dry sponge, and the volume is basically unchanged. It can effectively prevent the physical and biological denaturation of the material.
Features
1. Equipped with 7-inch color LCD Touchscreen, using PID control, can display temperature, Vacuum Level and browse Linear dispersion, clear and intuitive.
2. The drying chamber is covered with colorless transparent plexiglass, which is convenient for observing the entire freeze-drying process.
3. Equipped with anti-return oil vacuum pump, the host connection adopts international standard KF quick connector, which is simple and reliable.
4. Using the original imported Compressor from Europe, with mixed environmentally friendly refrigerant, the refrigeration is rapid and the freezing temperature is low.
5. The cold trap has a pre-freezing function, which can be used instead of the low temperature refrigerator.
6. Built-in high-efficiency heat exchanger, effectively reducing the cold trap temperature and strong water capture capacity.
7. Equipped with a nitrogen gas charging valve, it can be filled with nitrogen or inert gas for storage after drying.
Principle
Vacuum freeze drying is based on the principle of sublimation. First, the dried material is quickly frozen at low temperature, so that the water in it forms solid ice crystals. Subsequently, in a low temperature vacuum environment, the ice crystals are directly sublimated to water vapor without going through the liquid state, and escape from the material to be captured by the cold trap. The whole process of the material is always in a frozen state, and the ice crystals are evenly distributed, thus avoiding the problems of condensation, foam and oxidation caused by dehydration. Finally, the drying product with loose structure and easy rehydration is obtained.
