Overview
LICHEN LC-10N-80C Benchtop freeze dryer uses the sublimation principle for drying, which quickly freezes the dried substance at low temperature, and directly sublimates and escapes the frozen water molecules in a vacuum environment. This technology makes the substance always in a frozen state before drying, and the ice crystals are evenly distributed, avoiding the side effects of condensation, foam, oxidation, etc. Finally, the drying product with porous sponge shape, basically unchanged volume and easy to rehydrate can effectively prevent the physical and biological denaturation of the substance.

Principle
Vacuum freeze drying is based on the principle of sublimation. First, the dried substance is rapidly frozen at low temperature, so that the water in it forms solid ice crystals. Subsequently, in a vacuum environment that maintains a low-temperature freezing state, the ice crystals are directly sublimated into water vapor without going through the liquid state, and the water vapor is captured by the cold trap, thereby realizing the dehydrate drying of the substance. The whole process avoids the appearance of liquid water, thus protecting the structure and activity of the substance.
