Overview
The LC-12N-80D vertical freeze dryer is a device that utilizes vacuum freeze drying technology. This technology dries by rapidly freezing the dried substance at low temperature, and then directly sublimating and escaping the frozen water molecules in a vacuum environment. During the drying process, the substance is always in a low temperature freezing state, and the ice crystals are evenly distributed, avoiding condensing, foam, oxidation and other side effects. Finally, the drying product is porous sponge-like, basically unchanged in volume and easy to rehydrate, which can effectively prevent the physical and biological denaturation of the substance.

5. The cold trap has the function of pre-freezing, which can be used instead of the low temperature refrigerator.

7. Equipped with a nitrogen gas charging valve, it can be filled with nitrogen or inert gas after drying to maintain the sample state.
Principle
The device works based on the principle of sublimation. First, the dried substance is rapidly frozen at a low temperature. Subsequently, in the vacuum environment created by the device, the water molecules (ice crystals) in the frozen substance are directly sublimated from the solid state to water vapor without passing through the liquid state. This water vapor is trapped in a cold trap, thus realizing the dehydrated drying of the substance. The whole process of the substance is always in a low temperature freezing state, and the structure is well preserved.
