Overview
Cuiyuan Dyne Pen (Model 20) is a tool for testing the surface tension of materials. It can customize the ink Color, tip shape and size according to user request. It can accurately test the surface tension of materials such as Plastic film and help determine whether the material is suitable for printing, compounding or vacuum aluminizing processes, so as to effectively control the mass and reduce losses.
Features
1. Support customization, including ink Color, pen shape and size and other special needs.
2. Can accurately test the surface tension of various materials such as Plastic film.
3. Helps to control product mass and reduce losses caused by unqualified materials.
4. Available in two forms: bottle and pen, with various bottle specifications (such as 10ml, 30ml, etc.).
5. Ink Color can be selected from red, blue and custom-made special colors (such as white, black).
Principle
Dyne pen draws ink lines on the surface of the material through the nib, and judges whether the surface tension of the material reaches the value marked on the pen body according to the state of the ink line within a specific time (such as whether it is cissing or broken). The principle is based on the wetting behavior of liquids on the solid surface, and the ink cannot be spread evenly when the surface tension is insufficient.
Applications
Gravure printing, Offset Printing, UV Printing, Screen Printing, Tie-dye printing, ink jet printing, dry laminating, extrusion laminating, blown film, T-extrusion film, stretch film, Spreader, aluminized
Steps
1. Ensure that the surface of the material to be tested is clean, drying and free of pollution.
2. Select the Dyne pen corresponding to the target surface tension value.
3. Use the tip of the pen to smoothly and gently draw an ink line about 2.5 centimeters long on the surface of the material.
4. Observe the state of the ink line within 2 seconds: if the ink line is continuous and there is no cissing, the surface tension reaches or exceeds the nominal value of the pen; if the ink line cissing into droplets or breaks, the surface tension is lower than the nominal value.
5. Cover the pen cap tightly in time after the test to prevent the ink from evaporating.
Notice
• Be sure to clean the surface of the material before testing to avoid grease, dust, etc. affecting the results.
• When drawing the ink line, the force should be gentle and uniform to avoid scratching the material.
• Observation results must be completed within 2 seconds after the ink line is drawn.
• Cover the cap immediately after use to prevent the ink from drying.
• The value marked on the pen body is the nominal value of surface tension (e.g. model 20 corresponds to 20 dynes/cm).
• Plastic film (such as PE, PP, PET), conductive materials (such as aluminum foil) and Glass, ceramics and other materials.
• Bottled inks are available in a variety of sizes (10ml, 30ml, etc.) and Colors.
