Overview
NOBOTECH NPT-CD501 Waterproof Pen Conductivity detector /TDS is a high-performance portable measuring instrument designed for the civilian field. The product adopts a 32-bit high-performance processor, which has the characteristics of small size, light weight, low power consumption, and has IP65 protection rating. It supports power-on testing and easy and fast operation.
Features
1. Measurement range: conductivity 0~ 200uS/cm (0.1 constant), 0~ 2000uS/cm (1 constant), 0~ 20mS/cm (10 constant); TDS 0~ 100ppm (0.1 constant), 0~ 1000ppm (1 constant); temperature 0~ 60 ℃.
2. Adopt LED segment code LCD dual display, which can display the /TDS value and temperature value of Conductivity detector at the same time.
3. Numerical calibrating and Temperature Adjustment.
32-Bit high-performance processor with high Stability and low power consumption.
5. Automatically identify the standard solution. If the standard solution does not match, the calibration cannot be completed.
6. The CD/TDS mode can be switched freely, and the CD/TDS Electrode head does not need to be replaced.
7. Automatic shutdown without button operation in five minutes.
8. Equipped with low battery reminder function.
9. Adopt ultra-long standby technology, with a theoretical standby time of more than one year.
10. Protection Rating is IP65.
Principle
The instrument measures the conductivity of the solution through the built-in Electrode Sensor and calculates the total dissolved solids (TDS) value based on this. The instrument uses a 32-bit high-performance processor to process the Sensor signal and uses the NTC10K temperature sensor for temperature compensation (based on 25 ° C, the temperature compensation coefficient can be corrected) to obtain accurate measurement results at different temperatures. The measurement data is displayed in two lines on the LED segment code LCD screen.
Steps
Step 1 Power on.
2. Electrode head immersed in the solution to be tested.
3. Read the /TDS value and temperature value of the Conductivity detector displayed on the LCD screen.
4. CD/TDS mode switching, numerical calibration or temperature calibration can be performed by pressing the button as needed.
After use, the instrument will automatically shut down after five minutes of inactivity.
Notice
• Measurement range should not exceed the range specified by the instrument.
• When calibrating, a standard liquid that can be recognized by the instrument must be used, otherwise the calibration cannot be completed.
• The instrument has a low battery reminder function, please pay attention to replacing the battery in time.
• Do not use in an environment beyond the Operating Conditions (Ambient Temperature 0~ 60 ° C, relative humidity ≤ 90%).
• The instrument has IP65 Protection Rating, but it still needs to be maintained to avoid severe impact or immersion in corrosive liquids.
• When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to remove the battery.
