Overview
JFL YP-15T (flat heating type) Powder Tablet Press is a laboratory non-standard equipment, using heat-resistant alloy tool steel flat heating die, heated by intelligent digital display temperature controller, long-term use temperature ≤ 300 ℃, the maximum does not exceed 350 ℃. The instrument is easy to adjust, simple to operate, reliable and stable mass, suitable for scientific research experiments in the fields of chemical industry, superconductivity, ceramics, building materials, etc., can heat powder or particles under pressure, improve sample density uniformity, reduce gas content, enhance intermolecular coalescence force, so that the molded sample is not easy to crush, easy for subsequent analysis, cutting, sintering and preservation.

Principle
The Powder Tablet Press applies pressure and heat to the powder or granular sample simultaneously through a flat heating die. Under the combined action of pressure and heating, the gap between the sample particles is reduced, and the mutual coalescence force on the molecular surface is strengthened, so as to achieve densification and molding. After molding, the sample density increases and is uniform, the gas content decreases, the structure is more stable, and it is not easy to crush.

Steps
1. Assemble the mold: connect the upper pressing plate (including the heat insulation block) with the lead screw of the tablet press through a flange (the connecting top wire is not screwed, leaving a margin), and place the lower pressing plate on the platform and pad the heat insulation block.
2. Connecting line: Plug in the connecting line plugs on the two plates, and insert the spring Thermocouple into the middle jack of the lower pressure plate to lock.
3. Power on: Plug the triangular plug of the thermostat power cord into a 220V power socket with ground wire.
4. Boot setting: turn on the power switch, the indicator light is on, press the set button to set the heating temperature (refer to the manual of the PID temperature regulator). Start heating and pressurizing, pay attention to the temperature layer during the initial heating, there may be a slight increase after stopping the heating, and the thermostatic will have a slight error. After several overshoots, it will gradually equilibrate.
5. Precautions: Whenever the set temperature is changed, the PID parameters change slightly. Please do not adjust it at will.
Notice
The long-term use temperature of the flat heating die is less than or equal to 300 ° C, and it should not exceed 350 ° C.
When connecting the upper platen and the lead screw, the top wire should not be screwed to death, leaving a certain margin.
When the lower pressing plate is placed, a heat insulation block must be placed below.
The power supply must be 220V and a reliable ground wire must be provided.
* Environmental requirements: temperature 8.0~ 50 ℃, relative humidity 35%~ 85% RH, no corrosion and no strong electromagnetic field radiation.
* Initial heating, due to the heat capacity factor, the temperature conduction layer, the temperature may be slightly high after stopping heating, a slight error in thermostatic is a normal phenomenon.
When changing the set temperature, the PID parameters will change slightly. Please do not adjust the thermostat parameters at will.
