Principle

The Flame photometer is based on the principle of emitting Light spectrum. The thermal energy of the flame is used to excite the atoms of a certain element in the sample to emit light. The instrument detects the intensity of the Light spectrum energy through the Optical inspection system and the photoelectric converter, and then judges the content of the element in the substance. Due to the limitation of the flame excitation energy, the instrument is generally suitable for quantitative analysis of alkaline metals within a certain concentration range.
