Overview
Flame photometer is an analytical instrument based on the emission of Light spectrum, including gas and flame combustion part, Optical inspection part, photoelectric converter and detection and recording part. It uses the heat energy of the flame to excite the atoms of a certain element to emit light, and judges the content of a certain element in the substance by detecting the strength of its Light spectrum energy. It is suitable for quantitative analysis of alkaline metals within a certain concentration range.

12. Adopt menu-type full numeric keypad for easy operation
Principle
The Flame photometer works on the principle of emitting Light spectrum. It uses the thermal energy of a flame to excite the atoms of a specific element in the sample to a high energy state, and when these atoms return to the ground state, they emit light of characteristic wavelengths. The instrument separates the Light spectrum of a specific element through an Optical inspection system (such as a filter), and then detects the light intensity by a photoelectric converter. The light intensity is proportional to the element concentration within a certain range, so as to achieve quantitative analysis of the element content.
Applications
Quantitative analysis of alkaline metals
Steps
1. The instrument is turned on to warm up.
2. Connect the gas and check the gas circuit.
3. Select the element to be tested and the calibration method (polyline method, straight line method or quadratic fitting method) through the menu.
4. Using a standard solution to calibrate, the instrument can automatically calculate the correlation coefficient and save the Linear dispersion equation.
5. Automatic ignition with one click, and the flame size can be pre-selected as required.
6. The sample to be tested is injected at a rate of 4-6 ml/min.
7. Instrument measurement and display results, data can be uploaded to the computer or connected to the printer output through the RS232 interface.
Notice
• The instrument has the function of flameout detection and automatic gas cutting, but it is still necessary to ensure that the use environment is well ventilated and away from flammable materials.
• Please use a power supply that meets the specifications (220V AC, 50Hz).
• Injection rate should be controlled in the range of 4-6ml/min to ensure measurement Stability.
• When calibrating and measuring, ensure that the concentration of the standard solution and the sample to be tested is within the Measurement range specified by the instrument.
• The instrument can detect 3 elements at the same time, but the corresponding elements need to be measured according to the selected filter (K, Na, Li, Ca, Ba).
• Regularly check the gas pipeline to prevent leakage.
When handling or moving, please pay attention to the Net weight (10KG) and Dimension (400 × 275 × 460mm) of the instrument.
