Principle
The ST1818 array Colorimeter adopts D/8 (diffuse illumination, 8 ° direction reception) illumination mode and SCI (including specular reflected light) measurement structure. The planar grating spectroscopy technology is used inside the instrument to split the reflected light irradiated by the combined full-spectrum LED Illuminant onto the sample, and it is received by a large-area silicon photodiode array sensor to obtain the Light spectrum data of the sample, and then calculate various colorimetry parameters.

Steps
1. Boot preparation.
2. Automatic calibration with calibration box (contact type).
3. Choose the appropriate measurement aperture (platform or tip) according to the sample shape (flat or curved).
4. Measurement and positioning by stabilizer or visual.
5. Measurement mode (single or average measurement) and measurement, Measurement time of about 1 second.
