Overview
The product is a China quartz cuvette, model is φ 64 * 38, and its product name is quartz cuvette. The product specifications are size φ 64 * 38.
Features
1. Using quartz material.
2. The size specification is φ 64 * 38.
Principle
The quartz cuvette is a core component of Optical inspection analytical instruments such as spectrophotometers. Its Working Principle is based on the Lambert-Beer's law. When a beam of light of a specific wavelength passes through the Colorimetric cup containing the sample solution to be tested, the substances in the solution selectively absorb part of the light energy, resulting in a decrease in the intensity of the transmitted light. By measuring the ratio of incident ray to transmitted light intensity, the concentration of specific substances in the solution can be quantitatively analyzed.
Applications
Spectrophotometric analysis, UV-Vis Light spectrum analysis, Phosphorescence spectrum analysis, chemical analysis, biological detection, environment monitoring, pharmaceutical research and development, mass inspection
Steps
1. Before use, carefully clean the inner and outer walls of the Colorimetric cup with the solution to be tested or the designated cleaning solution (such as dilute acid, ethanol), and gently dry the light-transmitting surface with a wiperfor lens in a single direction to avoid leaving fingerprints or scratches.
2. Inject the sample solution to be tested into the Colorimetric cup to the appropriate height (usually 2/3 to 3/4 of the cup height) to avoid bubbles.
3. Hold the hairy or non-transparent surface of the Colorimetric cup and place it vertically and smoothly into the sample chamber slot of the spectrophotometer to ensure that the light-transmitting surface is parallel to the light path.
4. Cover the sample chamber cover, set the corresponding measurement wavelength and other parameters on the instrument, and carry out the measurement of Absorbance or light transmitance.
5. After the measurement is completed, pour out the sample in time, and thoroughly clean the Colorimetric cup according to the method of step 1, and store it properly.
Notice
• The quartz cuvette is suitable for the ultraviolet-visible region (usually above 190nm), please confirm its applicable Wavelength range before use.
• Avoid scratching with hard objects when cleaning, especially the light-transmitting surface, to prevent scratches from affecting the light transmitance.
• When injecting the liquid, it should not be too full to prevent the liquid from overflowing the corrosion instrument or contaminating the sample chamber.
• When taking it, you should hold the wool surface and avoid touching the light-transmitting surface with your fingers, so as not to leave stains that affect the measurement accuracy.
• Colorimetric cups are fragile, please handle them with care to avoid collisions.
• There may be minor differences between different Colorimetric cups. For accurate measurements, it is recommended to use a matching Colorimetric cup or perform a correction.
• Be sure to clean it after use to prevent sample residues from drying up in the cup, which is difficult to remove.
