Overview
The LS252C is an all-in-one Leeb hardness tester with a compact size for Hardness measurement of a variety of metal materials. Using the C-type Impact device, the Impact force is small, and it is suitable for testing surface hardening and parts with small mass or Film thickness. Repeatability and Measurement accuracy are excellent.
Features
1. Using C-type Impact device, Impact force is small, suitable for testing surface hardening layer and small mass or Film thickness parts
2. Double coil technology, Repeatability and Measurement accuracy
3. Built-in Direction Sensor automatically compensates for measurement errors in different Impact Directions
4. The system has a variety of built-in Hardness standards, which can be converted between Richter (HL), Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Shaw (HS), and Rockwell (HRC)
5. Compact size, light weight, easy to carry
6. Rechargeable lithium battery power supply, a single charge can be continuously measured more than 5000 times
7. Adopt USB (Type-C) charging interface, easy to charge
Principle
The instrument adopts C-type Impact device to carry out Hardness measurement of metal materials through Impact force. The probe has a built-in Direction Sensor to automatically compensate for measurement errors in different Impact directions to ensure Measurement accuracy. The system has a variety of built-in Hardness standards, which can be automatically converted to avoid cumbersome manual calculations.
Applications
The instrument uses a C Impact device with a variety of metal materials to choose from, allowing for a wide range of applications.
Standards
GB/T 13794.1、GB/T 13794.2、GB/T 13794.4、JB/T 9378-2001、JJG 747-1999
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power
2. Select Impact Device Type C
3. Select Hardness system as needed
4. Align the probe vertically with the surface of the metal material under test
5. Trigger measurement, the instrument automatically displays Hardness value
6. Turn off the power or automatic standby after the measurement is completed
Notice
• Operating temperature -10~ 50 ℃, relative humidity 0~ 85% (no condensation)
Storage temperature -10~ 60 ℃, relative humidity 0~ 85% (no condensation)
• Make sure the probe is vertically aligned with the measured surface during measurement
• Avoid use in environments beyond the allowable Humidity range
Recharge regularly to maintain battery performance
• Clean the probe after use to avoid contamination
