Overview
LICHEN CXC-06 crude fiber tester is an instrument that cooks samples according to the acid-base digestion method and obtains the crude fiber content of the sample by weight determination. It uses specific concentrations of acids and alkalis to digest samples under specific conditions, and then removes soluble substances with ethanol. After high temperature burning, the minerals are deducted, and the crude fiber content is finally measured. This instrument is suitable for feed, grain, cereal food and Miscellaneous agricultural and sideline products that need to determine the crude fiber content.

Principle
This instrument works according to the principle of acid-base digestion method. First, the sample is digested under specific conditions using a specific concentration of acid and alkali, then the soluble substances in the sample are removed by ethanol, and then the high temperature is burned to deduct the mineral composition. Finally, the crude fiber content is determined by weighing.

Steps
1. Prepare samples.
2. Use acid solution to cook (about 30 minutes).
3. Use an alkali solution to cook (about 30 minutes).
4. Perform suctionfiltration and washing (approximately 30 minutes).
5. Remove soluble substances with ethanol.
6. Burn the sample at high temperature.
7. Weigh and calculate the crude fiber content.
Notice
• The input power of the instrument is AC220V 50HZ, and the Power is 3.3KW. Please make sure the power supply matches.
• Acid and alkali solutions with accurate concentrations should be used during the determination.
• Pay attention to the repeatability error of the instrument: when the crude fiber content is below 10%, the absolute value error is ≤ 0.4; when the content is above 10%, the relative error is ≤ 4%.
• A single measurement takes about 90 minutes, please arrange the experiment reasonably.
• The instrument can measure up to 6 samples at a time.
• Please pay attention to high temperature parts during operation to avoid burns.
• Please use the 2-liter flask that comes with the instrument.
