Overview
The distillation device of LICHEN Technology HR-1000 nitrogen determination instrument works on the principle of Kjeldahl nitrogen determination and is divided into automatic and semi-automatic series. Heating mode is divided into electric heating pipe heating (suitable for different water sources) and Electrode heating (suitable for water sources with relatively low conductivity).
Features
1. Using international standard Kjeldahl nitrogen determination method: concentrated sulfuric acid digestion, alkaline environment steam distillation, Boricacid absorption, indicator titration endpoint Color determination method.
2. It is self-contained and can be switched at any time.
3. The inner lining is ABS anti-corrosion board, which effectively prevents corrosion.
4. New Appearance Design, Reliable Circuit Design.
Principle
The product uses the principle of Kjeldahl nitrogen determination, digests the sample through concentrated sulfuric acid, steam distillation in an alkaline environment, Boricacid absorbs the released ammonia, and finally determines the end point by indicator titration, thereby calculating the nitrogen content in the sample.
Applications
Food, Food, Dairy, Beverage, Feed, Soil, Water, Drugs, Sediments and Chemicals
Standards
International standard Kjeldahl method
Steps
1. Sample digestion: The sample is digested using concentrated sulfuric acid.
2. distillation: the digestive liquid is placed in an alkaline environment for steam distillation.
3. Absorption: Boricacid solution is used to absorb the ammonia released by distillation.
4. Titration: Titration is performed using an indicator to determine the endpoint and calculate the result.
Notice
• Input power is AC220V 50HZ, Power 1.2KW.
• Steam water sources require purified or distillation water.
Sample volume: Solid samples should be less than 5g, and liquid samples should be less than 20ml.
Determination range: nitrogen content 0.02-98% (or 0.1-220 mg nitrogen).
