The HBO HVA-P microscopic hardness gauge is a precision measuring instrument with an LCD display that can switch between Vickers (HV) and Knoop (HK) Hardness scales. The instrument is easy to operate, equipped with a high definition Optical inspection system, Illuminant luminance can be adjusted at 20 levels, and has a variety of Hardness conversion functions. The user can directly read the Hardness value on the LCD screen after measuring the diagonal length of the Canger through the microscope eyepiece. The instrument adopts an integrated cast aluminum body with stable structure and weight loading to ensure high Measurement accuracy and Repeatability.
1. Adopt LCD display, can switch Hardness ruler Vickers (HV) and Knoop (HK). 2. Easy to operate. 3. Optical inspection system with high definition. Illuminant luminance can be adjusted in 20 levels. 4. With a variety of Hardness conversion functions. 5. The diagonal length D1 and D2 values are measured through the micrometer eyepiece, and the Hardness value can be directly displayed on the LCD after key input. 6. Accurate positioning. 7. Integrated cast aluminum body, no deformation and no displacement. 8. weight loading structure, stable performance, Measurement accuracy, Repeatability.
The working principle of this microscopic hardness gauge is based on the static Crowd test method. The instrument presses the selected test force into the surface of the sample through the diamond indenter (Vickers or Noorth) through the automatic loading system, and maintains the set holding time. After removing the test force, the high-power Optical inspection measurement system (total magnification: 100X observation, 400X measurement) and the micrometer eyepiece are used to accurately measure the diagonal length of the Crowd left on the surface of the sample (D1 and D2). Finally, according to the input Crowd diagonal length value, the internal program of the instrument automatically calculates and displays the Vickers or Noorth Hardness value on the LCD display screen according to the corresponding Hardness calculation formula.
Metallic structures, metallographic and metallographic studies, minute parts, sheets, foils, wires, thin hardened and platings surface coatings, hardened layers, nitrided layers, steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, alloys, heat treatment, carbonation, ultra-tiny and very thin parts up to 3 μm in thickness, hardened layer depth measurement

1. Prepare the specimen and place it on the cross bench. 2. Adjust the height of the sample by lifting the rotating wheel to bring it close to the objective lens and indenter. 3. Swirl/spin transformation handwheel, select the objective lens for observation (such as 10X objective) for focusing and positioning. 4. Select the required test force, hold time and Hardness scale (HV or HK) through the panel buttons. 5. swirl/spin change handwheel, so that the indenter to the sample directly above. 6. Start the automatic loading program, and the instrument automatically completes the loading, holding, and unloading processes. 7. Again swirl/spin the handwheel and turn the measurement objective (e.g. 40X objective) to the working position. 8. Observe the Cedar through the micrometer eyepiece, and use the left and right drum wheels to measure the two diagonal lengths of the Cedar (D1 and D2). 9. Enter the measured D1 and D2 values into the instrument through the panel buttons. 10. The instrument LCD display automatically calculates and displays the corresponding Hardness value.
• Measurement accuracy is ensured by adjusting the instrument to a horizontal state with horizontal screws before use. • Be careful when installing or replacing the indenter to avoid damaging the precision diamond indenter. • The surface of the sample should be clean and flat, and the maximum height should not exceed 90mm. The distance from the center of the indenter to the inner wall is 120mm. Please pay attention to the size of the sample. • When selecting the test force, it should be reasonably selected according to the sample Hardness, thickness and test standards to avoid too large or too small Cedar affecting the measurement accuracy. • When measuring the diagonal of the Crowd, ensure that the Optical inspection system is clear and the drum wheel of the micrometer eyepiece is used correctly for reading. • The power supply of the instrument is AC220V +/- 5%, 50~ 60Hz, and the power supply voltage needs to be stable. • Regularly calibrate the instrument according to relevant verification procedures (such as JJG151) to ensure the accuracy of measurement results. • When moving the instrument, it should be handled with care to avoid violent vibration affecting the accuracy of the fuselage. • Optical inspection components (such as objective lenses, eyepieces) are kept clean and avoid touching the lens directly with your hands.
