Overview
The PINGXUAN PXSYD-265C kinematic viscosity meter is a test instrument that meets the requirements of the industry standard SY/T5651. It is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of Newtonian liquid petroleum products at constant temperature in accordance with the provisions of the national standard GB/T265.

Principle
The instrument uses a High Accuracy temperature control system to heat and stabilize the medium (such as thermostatic bath) in the Tank at a set temperature (such as 20 ° C, 40 ° C, etc.), and uses electric stirring to make the temperature uniform. The Viscometer containing the petroleum product to be tested is placed vertically in a Thermostatic bath. At a constant temperature, the time for a certain volume of liquid to flow through the capillary tubing under the action of gravity is measured to calculate its kinematic viscosity.

Steps
1. According to the test requirements, set the instrument to the required constant temperature (e.g. 20 ° C, 40 ° C, etc.).
2. Wait for the temperature in the Tank to reach the set value and stabilize.
3. Install the clean and drying Capillary Viscometer (a set of 4, specifications 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5) into the opening of the Tank.
4. Inject the petroleum product sample to be tested into the Viscometer.
5. After the sample temperature and bath temperature reach equilibrate, the viscosity measurement is carried out, and the time for the sample to flow through the capillary tubing scale is specified.
6. Calculate the kinematic viscosity of the sample according to the measurement time.
Notice
• Power supply voltage of the instrument is AC 220V +/- 10% 50Hz, it is necessary to ensure that the power supply meets the requirements.
• Working environment relative humidity should be ≤ 85%, environment Operating temperature range is -10 ℃~ + 35 ℃.
• The power consumption of the whole instrument is not more than 1800W, please pay attention to power safety.
• Please make sure that the Tank (φ 300 * 300mm) is clean before use, and the stirringdevice is running normally (Rotation speed is about 1200rpm).
• When testing samples, ensure that the Viscometer is vertical, the sample is a Newtonian liquid, and the temperature has reached equilibrate.
• The opening diameter of the instrument is 65mmx4. Please pay attention to the safe operation when installing the Viscometer to avoid burns or damage to the instrument.
