Leneta Form 8B Opacity Chart is a professional test cardboard used to detect paint, inks hiding power performance and levelling sagging. Its surface is black and white striped style and covered with a layer of sealed, which can effectively prevent paint penetration and ensure the accuracy of test results. This product is mainly used to measure hiding power to calculate the actual production situation such as paint application cost.

Principle
The Opacity Chart uses the black and white stripes on its surface as the test substrate. Spreader the paint evenly on the paper, and evaluate its hiding power by observing or measuring the degree of covering of the black and white stripes by the paint. The hiding ratio (%) is calculated as: Y black/Y white * 100%. Complete covering (100%) means that there is no difference between black and white areas after film. This test method can also be extended to the detection of hiding ratio of transparent films and plastic products.
