Overview
Leneta Form N2A-3 is an unsealed Opacity Chart with a color design of top black and bottom white. The product has unsealed surface and good permeability, and is designed to meet the specific needs of the carton industry in hiding power testing.
Features
1. The surface is unsealed, suitable for specific industry testing such as cartons.
2. Adopt black and white pure white design, which is convenient for hiding power comparison measurement.
3. It has good anti-permeability and prevents excessive penetration of paint inks.
4. The size is 140x254mm, 250 sheets per box, and the Encasement is practical.
Principle
The Opacity Chart provides a contrasting background for coatings through its black and white base color areas. Spreader the paint evenly on the paper, and after drying, objectively evaluate the covering ability of the paint by measuring the ratio of the black area to the white area coating reflectance (Y black/Y white * 100%). The closer the ratio is to 100%, the stronger the hiding power, i.e. the coating completely masks the difference in base color.
Applications
Paints/inks hiding power measurement, carton industry
Steps
1. Spreader paint evenly on the Opacity Chart by following the film steps.
2. Wait for the film to be fully dried by air.
3. Using the instrument for objective evaluation, the hiding power value can be measured and automatically displayed within 1 second.
Notice
* This product is a surface unsealed model, suitable for specific industries such as cartons, and the selection needs to be confirmed according to the test requirements.
* Spreader coating should be uniform to obtain accurate test results.
Before testing, ensure that the paint is fully stirred and adjusted to the appropriate temperature and viscosity according to standard methods.
* The drying process should be carried out horizontally under standard conditions (e.g. 23 ° C).
When grading, the edge of the Spreader stripe should be ignored and the central area should be mainly observed.
The rating of the leveling test is based on subjective judgment and needs to be compared with empirical consensus.
