Overview
LANDTEK HT-6510S-A sand mold surface hardness gauge is a professional instrument for measuring the surface Hardness of wet mold sand/core, providing technical parameters for formulating molding processes. This model is suitable for surface hardness testing of fine sand molds/cores for manual or mechanical low and medium voltage molding.
Features
1. With average value calculation, MAX Maximum latch, undervoltage alarm indication function
2. USB cable and Bluetooth data output, can communicate with PC
3. Equipped with 4-position 10mm LCD display
4. With automatic shutdown function
5. Lightweight, only 170g (without battery)
6. Optional USB cable and software, Bluetooth adapter and software
Principle
The surface hardness gauge measures the surface Hardness of the sand mold according to the compression stroke and the load value by applying pressure on the sand mold surface by a specific load and indenter. Type A uses a 237g load and a ball R2.50 indenter. Measurement unit is HA, and the Hardness characteristic of the sand mold surface is reflected by the Hardness value.
Applications
Manual molding, mechanical low and medium pressure molding, fine sand surface hardness testing, sand core surface hardness testing
Steps
1. Install 2 AA batteries
2. Align the hardness gauge head vertically with the surface of the sand mold to be tested
3. Apply appropriate pressure for measurement
4. Read the Hardness value displayed by the LCD display
5. Data transfer can be performed by connecting to a PC via USB or Bluetooth
Notice
The working environment temperature should be kept within the range of 0~ 40 ℃
The working environment humidity should be less than 80% RH
• Pay attention to the low voltage prompt of the battery and replace the battery in time
• The indenter should be perpendicular to the sand surface during measurement
• Measurement range should be between 10HA~ 90HA
• Avoid use beyond the specified environment conditions
