Principle

The surface hardness gauge calculates the surface Hardness based on the compression stroke and the load value by applying a specific load to the surface of the sand mold through the indenter. The HT-6510S-C model uses a ball R1.20 indenter for measurement at a load of 1500 g and a preload of 180 g. The results are expressed as HC Hardness values.
