Overview
The Leneta Form 18B permeable cardboard is an imported Spreader cardboard designed for measuring the hiding power performance of paints, inks, paints and other products. The surface of the cardboard is divided into four areas: 1/4 is white sealed, 1/4 is white unsealed, 1/4 is black sealed, and 1/4 is white sealed. The covering effect is evaluated by comparing the differences in different areas after Spreader.

Principle
The cardboard provides a contrast background for the test through its surface-specific black and white glazing oil partition design. Spreader the paint to be tested evenly on the cardboard, and after drying, calculate the hiding ratio (hiding ratio = Y black/Y white * 100%) by measuring the reflectance (or luminance value Y) of the black and white areas. Hiding ratio 100% means complete covering, that is, there is no difference between the black and white areas after filming.

Steps
1. Spreader the paint to be tested evenly on the Form 18B test cardboard according to the standard film procedure.
2. Wait for the film to fully dry in the air.
3. Use professional instruments to objectively evaluate the dried film, and the instrument can automatically calculate and display the hiding power value.
