DR89S Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a portable High Accuracy Thickness Gauge designed with a high-speed processor and a highly integrated chip using the ultrasonic measurement principle. It is capable of nondestructive, fast and accurate measurement of film thickness and sound velocity of various materials. It is suitable for various materials that can use ultrasonic waves to propagate inside them at a constant speed and get reflection from their backs, such as various metals (steel, aluminum, copper, etc.), Glass, Plastic (ABS, PC, PET, PP), etc. Widely used in machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace, automobile manufacturing and other fields, especially suitable for ultra-thin material Film thickness measurement.

Principle
The DR89S Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge uses the ultrasonic Measurement principle to achieve accurate measurement through the characteristics of ultrasonic waves propagating at a constant speed inside the material and reflecting from the back, combined with the High Accuracy Timing Chip and automatic real-time calibrating. The instrument uses the interface wave~ echo method and the echo~ echo method. Measurement modes automatically adjust the signal gain to identify different Film thickness materials.

Steps
1. calibrate: use standard block calibrate or sound speed calibrate, sound speed can be determined by known Film thickness

4. Automatic identification: The instrument automatically adjusts the signal gain and recognizes the material Film thickness
5. Data storage: Data can be stored in groups, up to 200 in each group, with a total capacity of 2,000 data
6. Data transmission: The Bluetooth version model supports Bluetooth interconnection data transmission
