Overview
The KAIRDA NDT361 Ultra-thin Thickness Gauge is a precision measuring instrument using ultrasonic technology for accurate Film thickness measurement of a wide range of sheet and machined parts. Measurement range 0.15-20 mm (steel), high resolution and High Accuracy.
Features
1. Using "clutter flying technology", the minimum Film thickness (steel) can reach 0.15mm, the highest resolution can reach 0.001mm, with extremely high Measurement accuracy and index accuracy
2. Two measurement modes are available: I-E mode meets the measurement of conventional thick workpieces, E-E mode meets the measurement accuracy of thin workpieces
3, can pass through the surface coating for measurement
4. The probe is placed on the thickness gauge test block and the button is automatically adjusted to zero.
5, LED backlight display, easy to use in the ray of light dim environment
6. With sound speed calibrated (reverse measurement of sound speed) or single point Adjustment
7. Alarm setting and difference mode setting can be performed: Film thickness range can be set beyond the upper and lower lines to automatically alarm, and the known workpiece Film thickness value is input in the difference mode to display the actual workpiece Film thickness difference
8, metric conversion: mm mm and inch in switchable units
9. Divide 5 arrays to store 500 Film thickness values for storage, viewing and deletion
10. Can store the speed of sound of 5 different materials
11. Adopt imported 15MHz single crystal delay probe, suitable for measurement of flat sheet
Principle
Based on the principle of ultrasonic propagation, the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge emits ultrasonic waves through the probe and receives the received wave signal, using "clutter flying technology" to achieve High Accuracy Film thickness measurement. The instrument calculates the Film thickness value by measuring the time that ultrasonic waves travel in the material.
Applications
Petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace, special inspection institute
Steps
1. Put the probe on the thickness gauge test block and press the button to automatically zero.
2. Select the appropriate Measurement mode (I-E mode or E-E mode)
3. Place the probe on the surface of the measured object for measurement
4. Set the sound speed calibrating or single point calibrating as needed
5. Alarm range and difference mode can be set
6. View, store or delete measurement data
