Principle

Based on the definition of Cobb absorbency, the instrument applies a certain pressure through a metal cylinder to measure the amount of water absorbed by the surface of paper and Cardboard within a specified time. The quantitative requirements of absorbent paper are 200~ 250g/m2, and the absorption rate is 75mm/10min. Accurate Water Absorbency data are obtained by precisely controlling the test conditions.
