Overview
CHENCHI TQD-1 Air permeability meter is an instrument used to measure the average air flow rate per unit area per unit time and unit pressure difference of paper and Cardboard under specified conditions. The instrument is suitable for the determination of medium air permeability range from 1 × 10 ² to 1 × 10 ² μm/(Pa · s), and its structural parameters and technical performance meet the requirements of relevant standards such as QB/T1667-98 and GB/T458-2008.

Principle
The instrument works together through components such as a container, a pattern clamp ring and a pressure gauge on a fixed pillar. The upper part of the container is equipped with a ventilation valve and a water filling valve, and the bottom is equipped with an overflow valve and a regulating valve to control the water flow. The pattern clamp ring is fixed on the bracket, and it is equipped with a 10cm ² hole with the air box. The air box is connected to the exhaust pipe and the pressure gauge through a rubber hose, and the air permeability of the paper sample is measured by measuring the air flow.

Steps
1. Use the leveler and adjustment bolts to adjust the instrument to the horizontal position
2. Fill the container with water filling valve with funnel
3. Place the 60 x 100mm specimen in the sample clamping ring
4. Adjust the bottom overflow valve and adjust the valve to control the water flow
5. Read the pressure gauge data and calculate the air permeability value
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is level before use
• The sample size should be strictly controlled at 60 × 100mm
• When filling water, it needs to be operated through the designated water filling valve
• Be careful to keep the pressure difference stable at 1 +/- 0.01kPa during the test
• Regularly check whether the rubber hose connection is well sealed
