Overview
CHENCHI BD-48 whiteness meter is a professional measurement equipment, mainly used for measurement of paper and Cardboard, Pulp and Chemical Fiber Pulp, Cotton and Chemical Fiber, Spinning & weaving Products, Plastics, Pottery and porcelain, Pond Porcelain, Starch, Salt, White Cement, Ceramic Soil, Talc Powder and other objects whiteness, and can measure Opacity and other Optical Properties of thin sheet materials. It can measure the blue light diffuse reflection factor (R457), analyze fluorescent whitening agents, measure the fluorescence whiteness, luminance stimulus value Y10, Opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient, light absorption coefficient and inks absorption value of paper and Cardboard, and the built-in micro printer can directly print the test results.

Principle
The whiteness meter is based on the Optical inspection Measurement principle, simulates the illumination of the D65 illuminating body, and uses d/o illumination to observe the geometric conditions. The specimen is irradiated through the diffuse ball (150mm diameter) and the test hole (30mm diameter), and the blue light diffuse reflection factor (R457) is measured to determine the whiteness. At the same time, the light absorber is used to eliminate the influence of the specular reflected light of the specimen. Its R457 whiteness Optical inspection system has a light spectrum power distribution with a peak wavelength of 457nm and a half-height width of 44nm. It is able to accurately analyze the fluorescent whitening agent and determine the fluorescent whiteness.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample to ensure that the size is ≥ 30mm and the Film thickness is ≤ 40mm
2. Place the specimen on the test hole
3. Start the device for measurement
4. Read the whiteness, fluorescent whiteness or Opacity of the digital display
5. Print test results directly using the built-in microprinter
Notice
The working environment temperature should be kept at 0~ 40 ℃, humidity ≤ 85%
• Specimen size should be ≥ 30mm, Film thickness ≤ 40mm
• Ensure that the equipment is used in a stable environment to avoid zero drift (≤ 0.1) and indication drift (≤ 0.1)
• Note that repeatability error ≤ 0.1 and mirror reflection error ≤ 0.1 to ensure measurement accuracy
• Check whether the light source and Optical inspection system are normal before use
