Overview
The MIT folding strength tester is a testing tool used to detect the fatigue performance of paper, through which the number of folding times and folding resistance of paper can be detected. The instrument can also be used for the fatigue performance detection of Spinning & weaving products, Plastic film, wire rod and other products. It is a professional testing tool for paper manufacturers, Encasement manufacturers, Spinning & weaving products manufacturers, wire rod manufacturers and other products to detect product mass.
Features
1. Easy to use
Adjustable between 20 and 200 double folds per minute
3. Use the weight of the corresponding tension to compress the spring to achieve the required tension
4. Color touchscreen, easy to operate
Principle
The MIT folding tester places a bendable sample under a constant tension load and then folds the sample in either direction to a 135 ° angle at a rate of 175 double folds per minute until the sample breaks at the crease. The instrument can be adjusted between 20 and 200 double folds per minute, with a maximum allowed fold angle of 135 degrees.
Applications
Paper, Cardboard, Tissue Paper, Plastic film, Metal foil, Miscellaneous, Film thickness less than 1mm sheet material
Standards
GB 457、GB 2679.5、QB 1049、ISO 5626、TAPPI T 511、ASTM D2176、BS ISO 5626
Notice
• Sample size should be 15mm wide and longer than 140mm
