Overview
WALL-E beater (model TC-WDY23) is an international standard equipment produced by Taichang Instrument for the study of pulp and paper technology. The equipment cuts, crumbles, kneads, splits, swells and refines the fiber slurry through the mechanical force generated by the throwing knife roller and the bottom knife. At the same time, it realizes the displacement and deformation of the cell wall, the rupture of the outer layer of the primary wall and the secondary wall. By adjusting the pressure of the bottom knife and the beating time, pulps with different beating degrees can be obtained. It is widely used in the beating test of plant fibers, synthetic fibers, carbon fibers and fiberglass. It is the key equipment for papermaking production testing, quality control, process formulation and teaching and research experiments.

Principle
The working principle of the WALL-E beater is: Measurement and slurry with specified concentration are carried out between the flying knife and the bottom knife for beating treatment, regular sampling during the beating process, and measurement of the dissociation of the pulp to evaluate the beating effect.

Steps
1. Prepare the slurry, tear it into 25mm × 25mm pieces, Measurement 200g~ 700g absolute dry pulp; 2. Put the slurry into the WALL-E beater; 3. Set the heavy thallium pressure and beating time to start automatic control; 4. Periodic sampling during the beating process; 5. Measurement of the free degree of the pulp and record the experimental results.
Notice
• Ensure that the power supply is 750W/380V, which meets the equipment requirements; • The slurry must be torn into 25mm × 25mm small pieces, and the amount of absolute dry slurry must be controlled within the range of 200g~ 700g; • Regular sampling is required during the beating process to avoid omissions; • The total weight of the equipment is 230Kg, pay attention to safety when handling; • The water source can be gap or continuous, but it is necessary to ensure a stable supply; • Check whether the speed of the flying knife roller is within the range of (8.3 +/- 0.2) r/s or (500 +/- 10) rpm before operation.
