Overview
The PUSHEN DIN cup (model: DIN6 custom) is a Benchtop viscosity cup used to determine the viscosity of inks, coatings, paints and other products. The product is designed and manufactured according to the German standard DIN 53211, with a stainless steel nozzle and anodic oxidation aluminum cup body, which has good corrosion resistance. The corresponding measurement aperture of the DIN6 model is 6mm, which is suitable for specific viscosity range determination.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured according to German standard DIN 53211.
2. Provide a variety of models (No. 2, No. 4, No. 6, No. 8), corresponding to different pore sizes (2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm), suitable for different viscosity ranges.
3. The main material is stainless steel and anodic oxidation aluminum, with good corrosion resistance.
4. Benchtop design, the test operation is relatively simple.
Principle
Benchtop DIN cups determine the relative viscosity of a volume of liquid by measuring the time it takes for it to completely flow out of the standard nozzle. The time of outflow (seconds) reflects the tendency of the liquid to hinder the flow (i.e. viscosity) and can be converted into a kinematic viscosity unit cSt by the standard formula.
Applications
Tack determination of inks, paints, etc
Steps
1. Prepare the liquid to be tested (such as paint, varnish) and a stopwatch with high accuracy.
2. Use the DIN cup for measurement and record the time (seconds) for the liquid to completely flow out of the cup.
3. According to the standard formula, the outflow time can be converted into a kinematic viscosity value (centistoke, cSt). Formula reference: centimeters (cSt) = K value × outflow time - (C value ÷ outflow time).
Notice
* A stopwatch with high accuracy is required to ensure measurement accuracy.
