Overview
The PUSHEN DIN cup is a Benchtop viscosity cup for measuring the viscosity of liquids such as inks, coatings, paints, etc. The product is designed and produced according to the German standard DIN 53211, the model is DIN8 customized, the cup body is made of anodic oxidation aluminum, and the nozzle is made of stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance. The DIN cup has four models: No. 2, No. 4, No. 6, and No. 8, which correspond to the measurement aperture of 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm respectively, and are suitable for different viscosity ranges.
Features
It is designed and produced according to the German standard DIN 53211.
2. Provide No. 2, No. 4, No. 6, No. 8 four models, corresponding to different aperture, covering a variety of viscosity measurement range.
3. The cup body is made of anodic oxidation aluminum, and the nozzle is stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance.
4. Benchtop design, the test operation is relatively simple.
Principle
Benchtop DIN cups measure the viscosity of a liquid by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of a standard nozzle. The higher the viscosity of the liquid, the longer the outflow time. The measured outflow time (seconds) can be converted to the unit of kinematic viscosity centistoke (cSt) by the standard formula.
Applications
Tack determination of inks, paints, etc
Steps
1. Prepare a stopwatch with high accuracy.
2. Inject the liquid to be tested into the DIN cup.
3. Allow the liquid to flow freely from the nozzle while timing with a stopwatch.
4. Record the number of seconds required for the liquid to flow out.
5. Outflow time can be converted to centistoke (cSt) or centipoise (cP) according to the standard formula.
Notice
• A stopwatch with high accuracy is required when using it.
• The measurement results are expressed in the number of seconds required for the liquid to flow out, and can be converted into units according to the formula.
