Overview
The LS253C type is a split Leeb hardness tester. The probe and the host are connected by an aviation plug, and the host can intelligently identify the Impact device. The instrument adopts digital dual-coil probe technology, which has strong anti-interference ability and accurate measurement performance. Built-in a variety of Hardness standards, it can automatically convert between Richter (HL), Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Shaw (HS), Rockwell (HRA, HRB, HRC) and tensile strength (sigma b) without manual table lookup. 2 Measurement modes are provided: Statistical mode can calculate MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and Average, and QC mode can detect whether the incoming material is qualified in batches. Four impact devices, D, DC, DL and C, can be selected to meet different needs.
Features
1. The host and the Impact device are connected by aviation plug, which can be freely matched with four Impact devices of D, DC, DL and C to adapt to a variety of measurement environments.
2. Connect the mobile app through Bluetooth to support multiple sets of data storage and sharing.
3. Adopt double coil technology to ensure high Measurement accuracy and good Repeatability.
4. The probe has a built-in Direction Sensor, which automatically compensates for different direction measurement errors and realizes 360 ° measurement.
5. Built-in automatic conversion of a variety of Hardness standards, eliminating the need for manual table lookup steps.
6. Measurement accuracy up to +/- 6HL, to ensure that by the national trusted Measurement Institute detection.
7. Connect the thermal printer through Bluetooth to print the measurement results on site.
8. Provide QC mode and statistical mode. The statistical mode can automatically calculate the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum, and average value of the last 9 sets of data. The QC mode can set the upper and lower limits for batch detection.
9. Adopt low-power technology and dynamic sleep algorithm, with automatic shutdown function, energy saving and environmental protection.
10. Digital probe technology has strong anti-interference capabilities.
11. Large LCD backlit display, menu operation, easy to understand information.
12. Equipped with standard Hardness block, users can calibrate by themselves.
Principle
Based on the principle of Leeb hardness testing, the instrument applies Impact force to the surface of the material through the Impact device, uses the digital dual-coil probe technology to detect the rebound speed, and combines the built-in direction Sensor to automatically compensate for the measurement error to achieve accurate Hardness measurement. The host intelligently recognizes the type of Impact device and automatically converts between various Hardness standards through algorithms without manual intervention.
Applications
Machine tool guide rails, automobile chassis, heavy workpieces, mold cavities, bearings, Pressure Vessels, installed machinery or assembled parts and other metal materials hardness testing, suitable for steel, cast steel, alloy tool steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, copper zinc alloy, copper tin alloy, pure copper, forged steel and other materials.
Standards
GB/T 13794.1、GB/T 13794.2、GB/T 13794.4、JB/T 9378-2001、JJG 747-1999
Steps
1. Connect the probe and the main engine to ensure that the aviation plug is firm.
2. Turn on the instrument power supply, and the host automatically recognizes the Impact device.
3. Select Measurement mode (Statistical mode or QC mode).
4. Impact device vertically aligned with the surface of the measured material for measurement.
5. Check the measurement results on the display screen, and the instrument automatically converts the Hardness standard.
6. In statistical mode, the instrument automatically calculates the MAX Maximum, MIN Minimum and Average; in QC mode, set the upper and lower limits for batch detection.
7. Connect the mobile app through Bluetooth to store or share data, or connect the thermal printer to print the results.
8. Turn off the power after use, or the instrument will automatically sleep and shut down.
Notice
• Operating temperature of the instrument is -10~ 50 ℃, storage temperature is -10~ 60 ℃, humidity does not exceed 85% RH (no condensation).
• Impact devices are vertically aligned with the material surface during measurement to avoid tilting affecting accuracy.
• Regularly calibrate with standard Hardness blocks to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments to prevent affecting digital probe performance.
• When using the low power function, pay attention to the battery power and replace the AA alkaline dry battery in time.
• In a dim environment with dark rays of light, the backlit display can be turned on, but pay attention to energy saving.
• When connecting to Bluetooth, ensure that the device is within the effective range to avoid signal interruption.
