Overview
Impact Tester (Model: YK-3659) is mainly used for the determination of Impact toughness of Non-metallic materials such as rigid plastics, reinforced nylon, frp, Pottery and porcelain, cast stone, electrical insulation materials, etc. The equipment is a suitable testing equipment for the chemical industry, R & D institutions, Universities & colleges and mass testing departments.
Features
1. Adopt High Accuracy Intelligent Controller, equipped with LCD display, can read data intuitively and accurately.
2. Use carbon fiber swing rod to improve material rigidity and focus Impact mass on the center of mass of the pendulum to achieve no vibration impact test and increase service life.
3. Using imported high-resolution digital encoder, the angle test accuracy is higher and more stable.
4. The use of aerodynamic Impact hammers and imported ball bearings greatly reduces mechanical friction losses.
5. Automatically calculate the final results, and the test data can be stored in 12 sets of data and averaged.
6. Chinese and English operation interfaces can be selected, and the test results can be selected in units such as J/m, KJ/m2, kg-cm/cm, ft-ib/in, etc.
7. Built-in micro-printer, capable of printing test data.
Principle
The testing machine releases the pendulum at a set lift angle, and Impact the sample placed on the simply supported beam fixture. After the pendulum impacts the sample, its remaining energy drives the pendulum to continue to raise a certain angle. The equipment uses the High Accuracy Angle Sensor to measure the angle difference before and after the pendulum Impact, combined with the known pendulum torque and other parameters, automatically calculates and displays the impact energy absorbed by the sample, thereby measuring the impact toughness of the material.
Applications
Chemical industry, R & D institutions, Universities & colleges, mass testing departments
Standards
ISO179-2000 "Plastics - Determination of Impact Strength of Simple Supported Beams of Hard Materials", GB/T1043-2008 "Simple Supported Beams of Hard Plastics", JB/T8762-1998 "Impact Tester of Plastics Simple Supported Beams", GB/T 18743-2002 "Thermal plasticity pipe Simple Supported Beams for Fluid Conveying"
Steps
1. According to the sample specification, adjust and select the correct jaw support spacing (40mm, 60mm, 70mm or 95mm).
2. Place the specimen accurately on the supporting jaw to ensure that the center of the specimen is aligned with the Impact point.
3. Select or set test parameters through Touchscreen, such as test unit, language interface, etc.
4. Raise the pendulum to the ready position of 150 ° and lock it tightly.
5. Release the pendulum to free fall Impact specimen.
6. The device automatically records and calculates data such as Impact Energy, and the results are displayed on the screen.
7. Test data can be printed through the built-in microprinter, or data can be saved (up to 12 sets) and averaged.
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment is placed horizontally and firmly before operation.
• According to the sample type and standard requirements, correctly select and install the corresponding support spacing and Impact blade.
• The swing angle and release operation of the pendulum should be standardized to avoid personal injury or equipment damage caused by misoperation.
• Regularly check the abrasion of key components such as Impact blade and support blade to ensure that their fillet radius and other parameters meet the standard requirements (such as Impact blade fillet radius R = 2mm +/- 0.5mm).
• When the equipment is not in use, the pendulum should be properly secured.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble or adjust the internal precision components of the equipment, such as angle encoders.
