Overview
The JINGWEN JW117C softness tester is an instrument dedicated to the measurement of material softness. It adopts a single-arm structure and touch screen display, which is suitable for a variety of material testing. Principle
The softness tester realizes stepless speed regulation through digital DC motor and control system, and drives the transmission mechanism to press the probe into the sample at a set speed. During the test process, the instrument monitors and displays the test force, displacement and other parameters in real time. When the probe is pressed into the depth of 8 + 0.5mm, it automatically stops and records the maximum force value to evaluate the material softness.

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power supply and ensure that the power supply is 200V 50Hz.
2. Enter test parameters such as test speed and slot-die width by touching the key.
3. Place the specimen in the test position and choose the appropriate slot-die width (5mm, 6.35mm, 10mm or 20mm).
4. Start the test, and the instrument will automatically run and display the test data in real time.
5. After the test is completed, the moving beam automatically stops, and the maximum force value is displayed and memorized on the LCD screen.
6. Record or export test results.
Notice
Make sure the power supply is 200V 50Hz to avoid voltage instability.
- When selecting the slot-die width, the error should not exceed +/- 0.05mm.
