Overview
Iwata Cup TR 1009 is a flow time cup for Coating viscosity measurement. It is made of copper nickel-plated cup body with 3.5mm hole in the bottom and a capacity of 50ml. The material Tack is evaluated by measuring the time required for a certain volume of sample in the cup to flow out of the bottom hole.

Principle
During the test, the coating is injected into the Iwata cup, the outlet is opened, and the time required for the coating to flow out of the cup is recorded. Tack of the material is evaluated by measuring the time it takes for a certain volume of sample in the cup to flow out of the small hole at the bottom.
