Overview
The TRUIT TR 1101/5 rotational viscometer is a precision instrument for the measurement of liquid viscosity. It determines the viscosity value by measuring the resistance of the liquid when the swirl/spin is rotated. The instrument is simple to use and consists of a rotor, a measurement slot and an electronic display screen. Measurement range is 10-100000mPa.s. It has the advantages of high measurement Sensitivity, reliable test results, easy operation and beautiful appearance.
Features
1. Sensitivity of measurement
2. Reliable test results
3. Easy to use and operate
4. Beautiful appearance
5. Provide 6/12/30/60rpm multiple speed options
6. Equipped with four rotor specifications: 1, 2, 3, and 4
Principle
The rotational viscometer determines the viscosity value by measuring the resistance the liquid is subjected to as the swirl/spinner rotates. During the test, the liquid sample is injected into the measurement tank, and the swirl/spinner swirls/spins at a certain speed, measuring the frictional resistance between the liquid and the swirl/spinner. The viscosity value of the liquid can be calculated by measuring the torque or swirl/spin speed of the swirl/spinner.
Applications
Grease, paints, Plastic, Food, Coatings, Glue, Adhesive, Resin, Chemical raw materials
Standards
GB/T 2794、ISO 2884-2 2555、ASTM D2196
Steps
1. Select the appropriate rotor and speed according to the liquid properties and test requirements
2. Inject the liquid sample into the measurement tank
3. Start the swirl/spin at a certain speed swirl/spin
4. Read measurement data through electronic display
5. Conduct correct data interpretation
Notice
• Need to choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the specific liquid properties and test requirements
