Overview
The TRUIT TR 1101/8 rotational viscometer is used to measure the viscosity of liquids by measuring the resistance of liquids when swirl/spin is rotated. The instrument is simple to use and consists of a rotor, a measurement slot and an electronic display screen. Measurement range is 10-2000000mPa.s, providing 0.3/0/3/6/12/30/60rpm. It is widely used in chemical, food and other fields to help determine liquid flowability, quality control and product development.
Features
1. Sensitivity of measurement
2. Reliable test results
3. Easy to use and operate
4. Beautiful appearance
5. Provide a variety of Rotor speed options
6. Wide viscosity measurement range
Principle
The rotational viscometer determines the viscosity value by measuring the resistance of the liquid as the swirl/spinner rotates. During the test, the liquid sample is injected into the measurement tank, the swirl/spinner swirls/spins at a certain speed, the frictional resistance between the liquid and the swirl/spinner is measured, and the liquid viscosity value is calculated by measurement of swirl/spinner torque or swirl/spin speed.
Applications
Grease, paints, Plastic, Food, Coatings, Glue, Adhesive, Resin, Chemical raw materials
Standards
GB/T 2794、ISO 2884-2 2555、ASTM D2196
Steps
1. Select the appropriate rotor and speed according to the liquid properties and test requirements
2. Inject the liquid sample into the measurement tank
3. Start the swirl/spin at a certain speed swirl/spin
4. Read measurement data through electronic display
5. Conduct correct data interpretation
