Overview
TR 1202/015 double-channel Fineness Gauge is a double-channel Grindometer from the TRUIT brand, made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with a Hardness of 52 +/- 2HRC to ensure a long service life. With a range of 0~ 15μm and a 0.75μm Graduation, the groove size is 140 × 12.5mm, which is suitable for measurement of a variety of materials.
Features
1. double-channel design, providing two grooves for measurement
2. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, Hardness 52 +/- 2HRC
3. A variety of ranges are available, including 0~ 15, 0~ 25, 0~ 50, 0~ 100, 0~ 150 μm.
4. The groove size is 140 × 12.5mm.
5. Graduation accuracy, such as 0~ 15μm range Graduation is 0.75μm
Principle
The Grindometer scraping sample on the trench by a scraper, the distribution of the particles in the trench and impurity particle size and degree of dispersion of the pigment is measured, thereby controlling the product mass.
Applications
Coatings, lacquer pulp, plastics, inks, paper, Pottery and porcelain, food, cosmetics and other liquids and pulps
Standards
GB/T 1724、GB/T 6753.1、GB/T 13217.3、ISO 1524
Steps
1. Prepare samples and place them on the Fineness Meter
2. Use a spatula to scrape the sample along the groove
3. Observe the distribution of particles in the trench
4. Read particle size data according to Graduation
5. Record measurement results for quality control
Notice
• Ensure Fineness Meter is clean and pollution-free before use
• The working face of the scraper should be kept flat without damage
• Uniform force should be applied during measurement to avoid deviation
• Regularly Check Material Hardness for Accuracy
• Avoid humid and corrosive environments when storing
