Overview
TR 1203/025 wire-channel Fineness Gauge is a TRUIT brand single wire-channel Grindometer made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with a Hardness of 52 +/- 2HRC to ensure a long service life. The product has a range of 0~ 25μm, a Graduation of 1.25μm, and a groove size of 140 × 37mm, making it suitable for measurement of a variety of materials.
Features
1. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with a Hardness of 52 +/- 2HRC to ensure a long service life
2. Provide a variety of range options, including 0~ 15, 0~ 25, 0~ 50, 0~ 100, 0~ 150 μm
3. Single wide-channel design with groove size of 140 × 37mm
4. The scraper has upper and lower working surfaces
5. Graduation accuracy, 0~ 25 μm Graduation range of 1.25 μm
Principle
The fineness meter scrapes the sample to be tested by a scraper in the trench, and determines the size and dispersion of pigment and impurity particles according to the distribution of the sample in the trench. The depth of the trench varies from shallow to deep. When the scraper scrapes, the particles will stay at the corresponding depth, and the Fineness value can be judged by observing the particle distribution.
Applications
Coatings, lacquers, plastics, inks, paper, Pottery and porcelain, food, cosmetics, and other liquids and pastes
Standards
GB/T 1724、GB/T 6753.1、GB/T 13217.3、ISO 1524
Steps
1. Place the sample to be tested at the beginning of the Fineness Gauge groove
2. Use a spatula to scrape the sample from the shallow end of the groove to the deep end at a uniform speed
3. Observe the particle distribution of the sample in the trench
4. Read the scale value at the beginning of the obvious aggregation of particles as the Fineness value
5. Clean Fineness Gauge and Scraper for Next Use
Notice
• Make sure Fineness Gauge and scraper are clean and drying before use
• Maintain uniform speed and appropriate pressure when scraping samples
• Avoid collision between scraper and Fineness Gauge to prevent damage to working surface
• Clean in time after use to prevent sample residue from affecting the next Measurement accuracy
Avoid wet and corrosive environments when storing
