Overview
TR 1203/100 wire-channel Fineness Gauge is a TRUIT brand single wire-channel Grindometer with a range of 0~ 100 μm and 5 μm Graduation. It is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with a Hardness of 52 +/- 2HRC. The groove size is 140 × 37mm, ensuring its long service life. It is suitable for measurement of a variety of materials and has a wide range of application fields.
Features
1. Made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, Hardness is 52 +/- 2HRC to ensure long service life
2. With 0~ 100 μm Range and 5 μm Graduation
3. Wide-channel design with groove size of 140 × 37mm
4. The scraper has upper and lower working surfaces
5. Suitable for measurement of various materials
Principle
The Fineness meter scrapes the sample in the trench by a scraper, and the size and dispersion of the pigment and impurity particles are measured according to the distribution of the sample in the trench, thereby controlling the mass of the dispersed product in production, storage and application.
Applications
Coatings, lacquers, plastics, inks, paper, Pottery and porcelain, food, cosmetics, and other liquids and pastes
Standards
GB/T 1724、GB/T 6753.1、GB/T 13217.3、ISO 1524
Steps
1. Prepare the sample to be tested
2. Place the sample in the Fineness Meter groove
3. Use a spatula to scrape the sample in the trench
4. Observe the distribution of the sample in the trench
5. Read and record measurement results
