Overview
The TR 1222/100 Aluminum Specific Gravity Cup is a TRUIT brand experimental instrument for the measurement of specific gravity or density of liquids. It is made of aluminum alloy material, with a large diameter and an accuracy greater than or equal to 0.2%. It is widely used in chemical laboratories, quality control laboratories, Food processing and other industries. The Specific Gravity Cup lid has a small hole in the middle. The excess sample material can be overflowed during use without generating bubbles, which greatly improves the test accuracy. It is a simple and effective tool for evaluating liquid purity, concentration or composition changes.
Features
1. The material has been specially treated and will not be deformed under normal use.
2. The inner wall adopts circular arc transition, which is easier to clean
3. The cup has a large diameter, which is convenient for the product to be poured in and out.
4. Made of high-quality aluminum alloy (anodic oxidation)
5. accuracy within 0.2%
Principle
Specific Gravity Cup calculates specific gravity or density by measuring the mass of the liquid at a standard volume. When used, the liquid fills the cup body and the small hole in the middle of the lid allows excess sample to overflow, avoiding bubble formation and ensuring measurement accuracy. Evaluate changes in purity, concentration or composition by comparing the mass of the liquid with the standard value.
Applications
Chemical laboratory, quality control laboratory, Food processing
Standards
GB/T 6750、ISO 2811、ASTM D 1475、DIN 53217、BS 3900 A19
Steps
1. Clean the Specific Gravity Cup to ensure no residue
2. Pour the liquid into the cup and fill it until it overflows
3. Cover the lid to allow excess liquid to flow out through the hole
4. Measure the glassgraduates with scales and the total mass of the liquid
5. Calculate specific gravity or density and compare with standard values
Notice
The instrument should be cleaned before use to avoid contamination affecting the results
- Regularly calibrate Specific Gravity Cups to ensure measurement accuracy
- Avoid using corrosive liquids to prevent material damage
- Handle with care during operation to prevent deformation from affecting accuracy
