TR 3001/100/20 Single Sided Applicator is a film device for precise control of wet-film or dry-film thickness. In routine quality control and R & D tests, it can ensure that the coating has good conformity and Repeatability. It is suitable for testing mass indicators such as hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance of coatings.

Principle
The single-sided Applicator uses its precise Spreader structure and fixed Film thickness design to evenly scrape the coating on the substrate to form a wet-film of the specified Film thickness. Its wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel material ensures stable Spreader process and good Repeatability, suitable for preparing uniform films for subsequent performance testing.

Steps
1. Spreader Substrate and Coating Samples
2. Place the Applicator at the beginning of the substrate
3. Manually or use the Automatic Film Applicator to push the Applicator evenly for Spreader
4. Check whether the thickness of the formed wet film meets the requirements
5. Clean Applicator for Next Use
