Overview
The TRUIT TR 3001/100/80 Single Sided Applicator is a tool for precise control of wet-film or dry-film thickness for routine quality control and R & D testing to ensure conformity and Repeatability of coatings in terms of hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance, etc. The Applicator is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, with an effective Spreader width of 100mm, a total length of 130mm, and a wet film thickness of 80μm. It can be used manually or with an automatic Film Applicator. It is widely used in Coatings, Polymer Materials, Adhesive, inks and other fields to prepare uniform film coatings to detect performance.

Principle
The single-sided Applicator uses its fixed Film thickness scraper structure to evenly scrape the Coating or Miscellaneous liquid material on the substrate to form a wet-film or Dry-Film coating of the specified Film thickness. The Applicator uses its precise gap to control the Coating thickness during movement, ensuring the conformity of each Spreader, thus providing a reliable sample for subsequent performance testing.

Steps
1. Prepare Substrate and Coating Sample to be Spreader.
2. Place the Applicator at the beginning of the substrate.
3. Manually or use the automatic Film Applicator to move the Applicator evenly and scrape the coating.
4. After completing the Spreader, remove the Applicator and check the coating uniformity.
5. Repeatability is verified by repeability as required.

- Ensure that the Applicator and substrate surfaces are clean before use to avoid impurities affecting the coating mass.
- Maintain uniform strength and speed during operation to prevent uneven Coating thickness.
- Regularly check Applicator abrasion, timely maintenance or replacement.
