The TR 3001/100/90 single-sided Applicator is a wet-film Spreader device from the TRUIT brand. It is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel with a total length of 130mm, an effective Spreader width of 100mm, and a wet film thickness of 90μm. The device can precisely control the wet-film or dry-film thickness. It is suitable for routine quality control and R & D tests to ensure that the coating has good conformity and Repeatability. It is used to test mass indicators such as hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, and sag resistance performance of coatings. Principle
The single-sided Applicator uses its fixed Film thickness Spreader structure to evenly scrape the Coating or similar material on the substrate to form a wet-film of the specified Film thickness. During operation, the Applicator moves along the substrate, using its precise gap to control the Coating thickness, ensuring the conformity of the wet-film or Dry-Film, thereby providing standard samples for subsequent mass tests such as hiding power, scrub resistance, etc.

Steps
1. Spreader Substrate and Coating Samples
2. Place the Single-Sided Applicator at the beginning of the substrate
3. Manually or using an automatic Film Applicator to push the Applicator evenly along the substrate
4. After completing the Spreader, remove the Applicator to obtain the wet-film of the specified Film thickness
5. drying or further processing of coatings as required for performance testing
