The TRUIT TR 3001/100/400 Single Sided Applicator is a Spreader device for precise control of wet-film or dry-film thickness. In routine quality control and R & D tests, it ensures that the coating has good conformity and Repeatability. It is suitable for testing Coatings for hiding power, opacity, scrub resistance, sag resistance performance, etc. The Applicator is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, with an effective Spreader width of 100mm, a total length of 130mm, and a wet film thickness of 400μm. It supports manual film or is used with automatic Film Applicator. It is widely used in Coatings, Polymer Materials, Adhesive, inks and other fields to prepare uniform film coatings to detect performance, and supports non-standard customization.

Principle
The single-sided Applicator uses its film thickness-fixing scraper structure to uniformly Spreader Coating or similar materials on the substrate to form a wet-film of the specified film thickness. During operation, the user places the material on the substrate, scrapes at a constant speed using the Applicator, and controls the Coating thickness with its precisely designed gap to ensure conformity and Repeatability of each Spreader, thus providing a reliable sample for subsequent mass testing.
