Overview
The TRUIT TR 3004/160/6 4-sided Applicator is a device for manual film proofing for experiments such as Coatings, inks, paints, etc., and can also be placed on automatic film machines. This model has four film Film thicknesses (50, 75, 100, 150 μm), an effective Spreader width of 160mm, and is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel. It can precisely control wet-film or dry-film thickness to ensure coating conformity and Repeatability. It is suitable for quality control and R & D testing.
Features
1. Made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel, with strong durability
2. Four film Film thicknesses (50, 75, 100, 150 μm), available in a variety of options
3. Effective Spreader width 160mm, total length 190mm, moderate size
4. Suitable for Manual and Automatic Film Applicators, Flexible Operation
5. Precise control of wet-film or dry-film thickness to ensure coating conformity and Repeatability
Principle
The 4-sided Film Applicator uses multiple film thickness notches in its design to evenly scrape coatings, inks or paints during the Spreader process to form a wet-film of the specified film thickness. When moved manually or on an automatic film machine, the alloy steel material ensures wear and corrosion resistance, resulting in precise control of the Coating thickness for subsequent mass tests such as hiding power, scrub resistance, etc.
Applications
Coatings, inks, paints experimental film proofing, quality control, research and development
Steps
1. Select the appropriate 4-sided Applicator Model and Film thickness
2. Place the Applicator on the substrate to be Spreader or on the automatic film machine
3. Coatings, inks or paints evenly applied in front of Applicator
4. Manually or start the automatic Film Applicator to smoothly move the Applicator to form a wet-film
5. Operate repeability as needed to test different Film thicknesses or performance
Notice
• Ensure Applicator is clean and free of residue before use
• Keep moving smoothly during operation to avoid uneven coating
• Regularly check the abrasion of alloy steel and maintain it in time
• Only for experimental film, do not overload
• Avoid humid and corrosive environments when storing
