Overview
The TRUIT TR 3060/3 Anti-Sag Meter is an instrument used to determine the thickening of wet-film in the vertical flow of the Coating. The appropriate wet film thickness is selected by controlling the physical performance of the Coating to obtain a uniform film thickness. The instrument is made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel to ensure durability and accuracy. The film film thickness range is 450-475-500-525-550-575-600-625-650-675 μm.
Features
1. Made of high-quality wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy steel to ensure durability and accuracy
2. Film Film thickness range covers 450-475-500-525-550-575-600-625-650-675 μm
3. Compact Design, Dimensions of 120 * 20 * 20mm
4. Number of grooves 10, film width 6mm, film spacing 1.5mm, adjacent film thickness difference of 25μm
Principle
The Anti-Sag Meter measures the thickening of the Coating flow from top to bottom by simulating the wet-film flow in the vertical state. The instrument uses grooves of different Film thicknesses to evaluate the sag performance of the Coating on the vertical surface, helping users control the wet film thickness to achieve uniform painting.
Applications
Vertical, corner, circular hole, arc workpiece painting control
Standards
GB/T 9264、ASTM D 3730
Steps
1. Prepare Anti-Sag Meter and Coatings to be tested
2. Coating Spreader on Anti-Sag Meter Groove
3. Place Anti-Sag Meter Vertically to Observe Coating Flow
4. Record the sag performance of Coatings in different Film thickness grooves
5. Choose the appropriate wet film thickness according to the results
Notice
• Ensure Anti-Sag Meter is clean and drying before use
• Spreader Coating should be uniform
• Avoid vibration or tilting when placed vertically
• Regularly check the abrasion of the instrument to ensure accuracy
• Avoid humid and corrosive environments when storing
