Overview
The conical mandrel TR 5214 is a special instrument for testing the bending performance and flexural strength of materials. Its main component is conical mandrel, made of high-quality stainless steel, with good Abrasion Resistance and corrosion resistance. The conical mandrel size is 3.1 mm in diameter at the small end, 38 mm in diameter at the large end, and 203 mm in length. The instrument is designed according to GB/T 11185, ASTM D522, and ISO6860-84 standards to evaluate the cracking resistance or disbonding performance of Paints, varnishes, or related product coatings when bent around conical mandrel under standard conditions.

Principle
During the test, the material sample to be tested is placed on the conical mandrel of the conical flexometer, and the sample is bent and deformed by applying force. By measuring the applied force and the deformation of the sample, the bending performance and bending strength of the material can be determined.
